AS-BIOX
The ultrasonic cleaning solution for oxygen breathing apparatus, diving equipment and life-support systems is a non-toxic, non-hazardous, non-flammable liquid. Thanks to its powerful formula, this concentrate is excellent for removing greases, oils and contaminants. It is approved by Lloyd’s Register of Shipping for oxygen breathing systems and has NATO codification numbers for cleaning diving and breathing equipment in ultrasonic cleaning units.
Professional cleaning solution
This cleaning solution is a non-hazardous, non-toxic, non-flammable liquid.
Removes contaminants such as:
Grease, oil and contaminants from oxygen breathing apparatus, diving equipment and life-support systems…
Safe to use on:
Painted, chromed and textile items, as well as iron, steel, copper, brass and aluminium.
No dilution in water is required. Use this liquid only in the ultrasonic cleaning unit. The working temperature should be 50°C. For more heavily contaminated items, try a higher working temperature or a longer cleaning cycle. Rinse all items with clean water after ultrasonic cleaning. Replace the cleaning solution in the ultrasonic cleaner regularly when it becomes contaminated.
This concentrate is safe for use on many materials, although we recommend testing all ultrasonic cleaning concentrates before first application on materials that you have not cleaned before, or contacting us for further information.
Clean without compromise with an ultrasonic cleaning concentrate designed to meet the unique challenges of commercial cleaning.
In addition to ultrasonic power, temperature and processing time, optimised ultrasonic cleaning results require specially balanced cleaning concentrates. ASonic offers a wide range of suitable low-foaming cleaning concentrates. All ASonic ultrasonic cleaning concentrates are specially developed for ultrasonic applications. With their cavitation-enhancing properties, the cleaning concentrates improve the cleaning process while at the same time being gentle on the material.
It is now easier than ever to control your cleaning costs while maximising your efficiency with ASonic concentrates. The concentrates are formulated to clean the toughest contamination while making your cleaning operation more effective. Using concentrates significantly reduces cleaning time. Their cavitation-enhancing and material-protecting properties allow maximum effect from ultrasonic cleaning.
Cleaning process description
Ultrasonic cleaners use high-frequency sound directed into a water bath; the action of the ultrasound produces small bubbles. These bubbles spread through the liquid and, when they reach the surface of the object, they collapse, releasing energy that removes contamination from the surface (even in channels, holes, slots and all other hard-to-reach areas).
Carefully place the basket with items into the ultrasonic cleaner. Fill the tank with a mixture of distilled water and cleaning solution at the desired ratio. Completely immerse the items to be cleaned in the solution. Set the desired cleaning temperature and activate the tank heater. Wait until the liquid in the tank reaches the set temperature and then set the ultrasonic timer according to the requirements of the cleaning process, depending on the type and degree of contamination of the item being cleaned.
Once cleaning is complete, allow the liquid to cool and then carefully remove the basket with the items. Rinse them with clean water. Replace the bath contents regularly when the solution becomes contaminated.
