The LANDTEK DP29-60 is a multifunctional portable dew point meter based on the precise chilled mirror measurement principle. It is designed for field, laboratory, and industrial applications where reliable measurement of low dew point values is required.
The DP29-60 is the standard model in the DP29 series and is suitable for use as a reference instrument for laboratory calibration, for moisture control in ceramic firing furnaces, and for humidity control in thermo-hygrostat chambers. The datasheet identifies DP29-SF6 separately as the version specifically intended for sulfur hexafluoride (SF₆) measurement, while DP29-60 is the standard general-purpose model.
The chilled mirror principle determines dew point by cooling a mirror surface until condensation begins to form. This method provides high measurement accuracy, good repeatability, and stable long-term performance.
The instrument includes a built-in electronic sample gas flow monitor, helping maintain suitable measurement conditions. The specified inlet flow is 15–60 L/h, with a typical operating flow of approximately 30–40 L/h.
For the DP29-60, the datasheet specifies a measuring range down to -50 °C under suitable temperature conditions, a resolution of 0.1 °C, accuracy of up to ±0.2 °C ±1 digit, repeatability of up to ±0.1 °C ±1 digit, and a maximum response rate of 2 °C/s.
Cooling is provided by semiconductor refrigeration, while the specified inlet pressure range is 10 mbar to 10 bar (1 kPa to 1 MPa). The default data output is USB, and an optional analogue output of ±10 mV/°C or 4–20 mA is also listed.
The instrument also provides mirror check and instrument check functions, allowing the operator to verify the condition of the measuring system before use.
