The Senseca HD403TS / HD4V3TS Series consists of active air speed transmitters with hot-wire sensors, designed for airflow monitoring and control in ventilation ducts, clean rooms, extraction systems, fans, and indoor air quality (IAQ) monitoring applications.
The series is available with either directional or omnidirectional probes, allowing the appropriate configuration to be selected according to the application and required air velocity range.
Models in the HD403TS… series are equipped with a 4–20 mA analog current output, while the HD4V3TS… models provide a 0–10 V DC analog voltage output.
Two main measuring ranges are available. Models …S1 and …S3 use directional probes and are intended for higher air velocities up to 40 m/s. Models …S2 and …S4 use omnidirectional probes for measuring low air velocities up to 5.00 m/s.
The HD403TS1 and HD4V3TS1 models are equipped with a directional Ø8 mm probe with a 2 m cable and have a measuring range of 0.20–40 m/s.
The HD403TS2 and HD4V3TS2 models use an omnidirectional Ø8 mm probe with a 2 m cable and have a measuring range of 0.1–5.00 m/s.
The HD403TS3 and HD4V3TS3 models feature a flexible directional Ø8 mm probe with a 2 m cable, making them suitable for measurement points that are difficult to access in ducts and ventilation systems. Their measuring range is 0.20–40 m/s.
The HD403TS4 and HD4V3TS4 models are equipped with an omnidirectional probe with an Ø80 mm protective cage and have a measuring range of 0.1–5.00 m/s. These models are supplied with a VTRAP20 tripod.
The HD403TS models are powered by 12–40 V DC or 24 V AC, while the HD4V3TS versions require 16–40 V DC or 24 V AC.
The specified probe operating humidity range is 5–75% RH.
The HD403TS / HD4V3TS Series is suitable for HVAC systems, ventilation installations, clean rooms, airflow control, low- and high-velocity air monitoring, and building automation systems where a standard analog signal is required for integration with controllers, PLCs, or monitoring systems.
