The Senseca HD51.3D Series is a range of high-performance two-axis static ultrasonic anemometers designed for accurate wind measurement across a wide variety of environmental and industrial conditions.

Depending on the selected configuration, the instruments can measure wind speed up to 85 m/s, wind direction, U-V Cartesian components of wind speed, and Wind Gust. Optional integrated measurements include relative humidity and temperature, global solar radiation, and atmospheric pressure.

All available configurations can also be supplied with an integrated heating system, supporting reliable operation at low temperatures and under conditions where snow or ice may form.

For particularly demanding and aggressive environments, the HD51.3DR-AL model is available. It measures wind speed up to 80 m/s, wind direction, U-V Cartesian components, and Wind Gust. The HD51.3D4R-AL version also includes atmospheric pressure measurement.

The HD51.3DR-AL version features an upgraded heating system for rapid defrosting and a housing made from anodized aluminum alloy with an anti-corrosion coating, making it suitable for use in highly aggressive environments. The model complies with MIL-STD-810G Method 509.6 for salt-spray corrosion resistance testing.

Its high immunity to electromagnetic interference also makes the series suitable for measurements in electrically noisy environments.

All models are equipped with RS232, RS485, and RS422 serial communication interfaces and support NMEA, MODBUS-RTU, and proprietary ASCII communication protocols.

The instruments also provide two analog outputs for wind speed and wind direction, factory configurable as 4–20 mA (standard), 0–1 V, 0–5 V, or 0–10 V.

The operating temperature range is -40 to +70 °C. Instrument power supply is 12–30 V DC, while the heating system requires 24 V DC.

The Senseca HD51.3D Series is suitable for automatic weather stations, wind monitoring, industrial and infrastructure applications, remote monitoring sites, and environments exposed to severe weather or electromagnetic interference.
