nemi DAQ is a compact, high-performance wireless data acquisition (DAQ) and telemetry system designed for versatile measurement and monitoring of strains, forces, loads, displacements (e.g. crack monitoring), temperatures, and many other physical quantities. As part of the nemi® Wireless Measurement Family, nemi DAQ goes far beyond a classic telemetry module by combining flexible sensor connectivity, high-resolution signal processing, and wireless communication in a single device.

The system supports a wide range of analog, digital, and resistance-based sensors, including strain gauges (Wheatstone bridges), force and load sensors, displacement and crack sensors, thermocouples, Pt100/Pt1000 temperature sensors, potentiometers, and standard 0–10 V sensors. A 24-bit high-resolution ADC with integrated signal amplifier ensures extremely low measurement noise and high accuracy, even for demanding applications.

In addition to external sensors, nemi DAQ features an integrated IMU with a triaxial accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer, enabling the measurement of accelerations, rotation rates, rotation angles, and magnetic fields. This makes the device particularly suitable for dynamic measurements on rotating or moving components.

With its long battery life and the highly efficient nemi Link 2400 radio technology developed by i4M, nemi DAQ enables reliable fully wireless operation for mobile and hard-to-reach applications. For permanent installations, the system can be powered continuously via a wide-range DC voltage input.

Typical applications include:

  • Torque and torsion measurements in drive trains

  • Load and force measurements on rotating components

  • Wireless strain gauge measurements

  • Displacement and crack monitoring

  • Structural and condition monitoring

  • Dynamic testing in mobile or rotating systems

Live raw measurement data or edge-processed smart data can be transmitted in real time, reducing data volumes while preserving critical information.
